The album was recorded at her concert at The Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles, California. This live recorded album gives listeners a glimpse of what a Millie Jackson show is like - ranging from romantic ballads, to explicit recreations of classical pieces. She even "raps" in between songs about the men in her life, to soap operas on television. One of the most noteable songs from the album is "Phuck U Symphony" which has remained a popular addition to her live shows even to this day.
