This is a gently used copy of Michael Jackson's critically acclaimed 6th studio album, Thriller, originally released in 1982. The album came out of Jackson's desire to make an album that moved away from the disco sound, but was still a "killer" as Jackson described it. The album combines pop, rock, funk, and soul sounds with the help of Quincy Jones on the album production. The album went on to become Jackson's first #1 album on the Billboard charts, where it spent 37 weeks at #1. A staggering 7 of 9 songs went on to be singles, all reaching the top 10 on the US Billboard 100, setting the record for most top 10 singles from the album; with "Beat It" and "Billie Jean" both reaching #1. With 32 million copies being sold worldwide back in 1983, it became the best-selling album of all time and remains to be such to this day.
