This is a gently used copy of Parliament's 6th studio album, Funkentelechy vs. the Placebo Syndrome, originally released in 1977. The album was a concept album, dreamed up by the band's leader, George Clinton. It was a warning, encouraging listeners to not fall into the "Placebo Syndrome" that was disco music, that Clinton thought was a simplified version of funk music. It spawned the #1 single, "Flashlight", and became the group's 4th consecutive Gold album, and second Platinum album.
