This is a gently used copy of Isaac Hayes' third studio album, The Isaac Hayes Movement, originally released in 1969. The name, "The Isaac Hayes Movement" was coined by Marvell Thomas as a name for Hayes' backup ensemble, a named modeled after the Jimi Hendrix Experience. The album features only 4 long songs, with heavily orchestrated arrangements. However, the songs are all reworked covers of other artists' songs. Commerically, the album spent 7 weeks at the #1 spot on the soul and jazz charts.
