The album includes recordings of her final studio sessions in 1978 and some music recorded after her passing in 1979. The album was produced by Quincy Jones, and the back cover includes quotes from each artist who participated in the album - including Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Hubert Laws, George Benson and more.
